Paintings from a series inspired by industrial objects including shipyards where container ships are dismantled. This dismantling is a metaphor for the dismantling of the earth. At the same time beautiful and terrible.

The National Monument of the Wiebenga silo's is a former grain storage. Nowadays, it is an exhibition space. The space has no daylight and special acoustics, which creates an association with the inside of ships and industrial buildings depicted in my paintings.
